BoatSpeed is a GPS-based application that provides essential information during your voyage, such as current speed, location, and course.
- Knotmeter: BoatSpeed includes a Knotmeter feature that allows you to monitor your speed throughout your journey. The gauge displays the speed reported by your device's GPS. For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to use BoatSpeed outdoors with a clear view of the sky.
- Bearing Compass: BoatSpeed features a bearing compass to assist you in staying on course. The compass indicates the deviation from your desired bearing, with deviations being displayed in red. You can easily switch between modes using the speed and compass buttons.
- Average Speed and Speed Chart: In addition to real-time speed data, BoatSpeed also provides information on your average speed and charts your speed throughout your entire voyage.
Apple Watch Integration
- BoatSpeed for Apple Watch: BoatSpeed is fully compatible with Apple Watch Series 5. Now, you can conveniently access not only your current, maximum, and average speed but also your current heading directly from your wrist. Simply swipe left on the current heading to switch between displaying your current heading and location.
Automatic Night Mode
- Theme Customization: BoatSpeed offers the convenient feature of automatically switching themes based on your iPhone's settings. This ensures that your viewing experience remains optimal regardless of lighting conditions.
